Ching, In A Nutshell.
Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That’s impossible. Instead… only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you’ll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
I wanted to be mysterious & deep and just solely leave the dialogue above from The Matrix as my “About Me”. But then I kinda thought about it and realized people would probably never come back to my blog ever again. So I’ll elaborate a bit. My name is Chong, born in Korea and raised in Chicago. Simply put, I’m a storyteller. I aspire to be a photojournalist, but there are literally zero jobs in the market today because of social media. So I do the next best thing, which is to fuse photojournalism with different aspects of my life to try to create something unique. I approach my lifestyle & portrait work with a dab of photojournalism. I approach my wedding work with full force photojournalism. And I absolutely love to travel. So what do I try to do? I try to document my travel with a photojournalistic approach. The problem is, I’m a bit obsessed.

Unfortunately, this has become my life mantra. I experience my life through photography, both literally and figuratively. Photography becomes my passport to new places and new experiences. I believe Zach Arias said that and I’m stealing it because it pretty much resonates with where I’m at right now in my life. Now couple this with The Matrix quote above, and this is me in a nutshell.
